Hope House

For nearly a decade, Spur Communications has worked closely with Hope House to develop advertising, marketing and fundraising that raises community awareness in an effort to end domestic violence. Heavily reliant on private donations, the annual report extended its impact beyond the typical printed piece to connect with donors on a highly individualized level. Each was customized based on information pulled from donor data that thanked the individual by name and said specifically how the donation was used. Each cover was personalized with artwork and a note from a child who was helped by the donation. In addition, the donor was issued a personal URL (PURL), which connected them with another personal thanks and a request for an additional donation – strengthening the connection between Hope House, its donors, and increasing the incremental donations received.
